The Lisdoonvarna slate plaque is designed and handmade in Killyliss Studio to celebrate the famous County Clare spa town.
Each September, Lisdoonvarna hosts one of Europes largest matchmaking festival. Over 40,000 romantic hopefuls visit this small spa town in County Clare in the west of Ireland , in search of love.
The town also has been made famous by the Irish folk singer Christy Moore who penned the humourous song Lisdoonvarna.
The artwork is hand sculpted by Colm Mc Cann ,in coldcast brass. This plaque is finished to the highest standard and then mounted onto a slate wall hanging 125mm x 125mm in size.
