County Sligo is one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland.
It is situated in the province of Connaught on the western shore of Ireland.
South Sligo has a rich musical history giving us famous musicians like, Michael Coleman, James Morrison and Paddy Killoran.
The Nobel Laureate William Butler Yeats spent much of his childhood in Sligo and his writings were greatly inspired by this county, especially the Isle of Innishfree in Lough Gill.
